Fast Track-FAA ADHD Evaluation
In 2023, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) began a new process for possible pilots with a history of receiving a diagnosis of ADHD and/or taking ADHD medications greater than four years ago. For details about the FAA requirements, please seek this directly from the FAA. For example, this link has current information, as of March 2024.

Dr. Manning has experience providing FAA ADHD Fast Track Evaluations that have led to approval. She can provide these evaluations for individuals physically located in PSYPACT Participating States, as shown in the map below.

Process
1. You do not need to complete a 15 minute phone consultation, although you are welcome to do so if this page does not answer all your questions.

2. You need to complete background paperwork and email us with all of the information the FAA requires, as listed in the document above (e.g., transcripts, driving records, prior mental health records, pharmacy records, etc.).
3. We will have a telehealth appointment that will last 1-2 hours. We will discuss your background and history, as well as your current functioning. We'll also do a mental status exam to briefly examine your current thinking processes. It's nothing that you'll need to prepare or practice for.
4. Dr. Manning will write a report, complete the FAA form, and upload them to our patient portal for you within 2 business days after our appointment. It will include all information that the FAA requires.
Fees & Disclaimer
-
The fee for the whole process is $625. We'll charge that to your card at the time of the appointment. Insurance does not cover these evaluations, so it must be paid out of pocket.

-
We cannot guarantee the outcome of the process. Even if you have a very strong claim, there is a chance that the FAA could deny it and require more evaluation.
