Highlighting a Partner: Michigan Rehabilitation Services

Stratus is happy to be partnering with Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) since opening in January. MRS works with individuals with barriers to employment, including neurodevelopmental and psychological factors, and they work with employers. The goal is to develop a more diverse workforce, in which individuals with disabilities or other barriers are able to engage in meaningful employment.

MRS offers a variety of services, including job training and job coaching. Dr. Manning is a vendor with MRS. Her role involves evaluating individuals who apply to MRS to better understand their needs. She offers input regarding job fit and services or accommodations that would help the individual be successful in the workplace. For example, evaluations can help indicate that an individual would do best in a job with low social demands, a position that involves physical movement, and/or with a job coach.
